This was one of my favourite projects, I shot this as part of my master’s course. I had loads of help from Justin Wachira. I made great friends during/after this project including the major characters in the documentary, and we still keep in touch. Despite the hiccups that were there God came through for me when I was shooting this. Below find the synopsis of the documentary.

This is a documentary about the informal public means of transport in Kenya, known as Matatus and their rebellion against authority. The documentary is set in Nairobi city. And we follow a particular Matatu driver and his conductor through their day to day errands. As he explains the ins and out of the industry and challenges, we are also introduced to the other views by the police who are almost always in conflict with the Matatus. The characters in the documentary voice the documentary
