Binyavanga is a Kenyan author, journalist and winner of the Caine Prize for African Writing. I had a call one afternoon for a portrait shoot of Binyavanga, from the sister Melissa who is a friend and I jumped at the opportunity.
This was shot at his home in Nairobi, for a south African magazine called Cityscapes.
